Chelsea defender José Bosingwa, whose contract with the London club comes to an end shortly, has been offered as one of the candidates for Barcelona, according to the Chelsea news website. It is thought that the Spanish club would be willing to listen to offers for the 29-year-old Brazilian full-back Dani Alves.
Manchester City are one of the clubs interested in securing the Brazilian, who is regarded as one of the best attacking right back in the world. They are looking at the possibility of replacing the former Sevilla defender due to the fact that he has only one season left on his current contract. Now, José Bosingwa, who helped Chelsea lift the Champions League title, has emerged as a real transfer target for the Spanish club.
Italian club Inter Milan are looking at the possibility of signing Chelsea right back José Bosingwa on a free transfer at the end of this season.
The Portuguese right back is out of contract at the end of the season, but Chelsea could still activate a clause in his contract that will extend his contract by another year.
In such a scenario, it will be interesting to see if Inter Milan still retain their interest in the player. Inter Milan are looking to replace Brazilian right back Maicon in the summer. It is a move that has been seen as a way to reduce the huge wage bill at the club.
Recently there was quite a lot of allegation thrown forth at the Chelsea boss Andre Villas Boas due to unrest within the Chelsea camp.
However amidst all this confusion, Jose Bosingwa made sure that he had shown his support and backed up his fellow Portuguese boss to change the entire scenario and ensure that the other players did not have any problems with Andre.
He made an effort to look into the problems and make sure that they got sorted out so that there were no unsorted issues which might spark up another fight among the team members. The entire issue had started due to the poor performance of Chelsea. They still lag behind Manchester City by 12 points. These were some of the major issues kept in mind before the problem initiated.
