AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa in the January transfer window. The Stamford Bridge club are aware of the Serie A club’s interest in the defender and are considering letting him leave.

The 28-year-old Portugal international who cost Chelsea £16.2million in 2008 - is out of contract in the summer. Milan want to use the fact he only has six months left on his existing deal to land Jose Bosingwa – whose career at Chelsea has been blighted by injury - on the cheap and Chelsea will consider selling now rather than lose him for nothing.
